Duties and responsibilities: Qualifications and experience

Geofirma Engineering Ltd is looking to fill a full-time intermediate position for a Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist.  Graduation from a recognized engineering or earth science university program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) with minimum of 5 years work experience preferred.  P.Eng. or P.Geo. licensing is required.  Bilingual French-English an asset.

Reporting to senior project engineers and geoscientists, the successful applicant will provide field and office support to environmental site assessments, site remediation projects, deep bedrock drilling and testing programs, groundwater resource investigations, hydrogeological studies in support of waste management, and source water protection studies.  Willingness to travel within Ontario and undertake field work is essential.  Valid Ontario Driver’s License mandatory.
