Hydrogeological Testing & Characterization for an Ottawa Residential Development

Geofirma provided multidisciplinary environmental and hydrogeological support for a proposed mid-rise residential development in Ottawa. The work included a Phase One Environmental Site Assessment, installation and hydraulic testing of shallow bedrock monitoring wells, characterization of groundwater conditions, and estimation of groundwater inflows to the proposed excavation. Geofirma also developed a groundwater management plan to support excavation and dewatering planning and obtained an EASR for water taking.
