Carbon Storage Geoscientific Assessment

Geofirma provided a full-service assessment of geological carbon storage potential for a major industrial carbon emitter in southern Ontario. A deep borehole was drilled and tested to obtain high-quality site-specific geoscientific data. This data was used to develop a geological conceptual model of the site, characterizing the proposed storage reservoir and caprock system. This conceptualization was developed into numerical simulations of CO2 injection at the site.
