Dick Jackson was appointed to become Chair of the Board of Directors of the A.E. Lalonde Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at the University of Ottawa in May. This lab is funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) as the Canadian Centre for Accelerator Mass Spectrometry and Radioisotope Research and provides analytical services throughout Canada for C-14 and other radioisotopes. It is one of just 17 national research facilities funded by CFI. It is located in the same building at the G.G. Hatch Laboratory for stable isotope analysis.
