Designated Substances & Asbestos Survey

In Ontario, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations provide the framework for safe and healthy workplaces. In particular, O.Reg. 490/09 defines and regulates designated substances, while O.Reg. 279/05 governs asbestos on construction projects and within buildings. Our designated substance and asbestos surveys determine these substances’ presence, quantity, and condition, allowing for management according to the regulations. Our clients range from individual property owners to operators of large institutional facilities.
