Amy has worked as a geoscientist at Geofirma since 2020. She completed her B.Sc. in Geology (Honors) at the University of Ottawa, with her undergraduate thesis focusing on geochronology and isotopic geochemistry of Neoarchean-aged rocks.
Her professional experience includes environmental monitoring completing soil, air and water sampling, supervision of environmental drilling, and involvement in hydrogeological assessments, including hydraulic testing.
Amy’s recently worked in roles as field lead, site supervisor, core logger and technical support for geological and geotechnical site characterization programs for nuclear waste storage and carbon sequestration. Amy has also been involved in the planning and execution a long-term sampling and monitoring program in deep boreholes in Northwestern Ontario.
