Robert Walsh will be attending the 27th World Gas Conference (WGC 2018) in Washington DC from June 25-29. Along with his co-presenter Steve Pardy from Union Gas, he is presenting a talk and paper entitled “Expanding Capacity in Ontario’s Storage Pools.” This work describes the qualitative and quantitative techniques employed to better understand risk in natural gas storage applications and outlines the systematic approach used to demonstrate that the maximum pressure could safely be increased beyond historical levels.
